The estate
Founded in 1919, the estate has been run by the Trapet family for four generations. The family owns vineyards in some of the most prestigious appellations in the Côte de Nuits, including the Chambertin and Chapelle-Chambertin grands crus, as well as in the Alsace region. The estate is renowned for its commitment to biodynamic viticulture and its respect for the terroir. It produces top-quality red and white wines, striving for elegance and purity of fruit in each of its cuvées.
The wine
Located in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin, the Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru produces some of the world's most sought-after Pinot Noir wines. After a few years in our cellars, this Pinot Noir displays tertiary notes of game and smoked bacon without losing its brilliant freshness.
