The estate
Founded in 1859 by Louis-Henry Jadot following the purchase of the ‘Les Ursules’ parcel, the estate has gone from strength to strength. It is now run by Pierre-Henry Gagey, and produces wines from some of Burgundy's finest terroirs. The House produces terroir-driven wines of great precision.
The wine
Clos Saint-Jacques is one of Gevrey-Chambertin's most famous premier crus. Here, La Maison Jadot offers a concentrated pinot noir with notes of red fruit and spices, alongside more complex tertiary notes due to ageing.
