The estate
Founded in 1880 by Joseph Drouhin, the estate is now run by his descendants and boasts 72 hectares of vineyards spread over some of Burgundy's finest appellations. The wines produced here are renowned for their unparalleled finesse.
The wine
On the Musigny Grand Cru, Maison Drouhin offers us a pinot noir with notes of red fruit such as redcurrant and strawberry. Now, after years in the cellar, the wine has developed complexity and displays notes of smoked bacon, undergrowth and tobacco.
