The estate

Domaine Chanson, founded in 1750, is one of the oldest wine houses in Burgundy. Situated in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, the estate is renowned for its prestigious Premiers Crus, including Clos des Fèves, a monopoly of the house.

The wine

This vintage reveals intense aromas of red and black fruit, black cherry, with hints of violet, undergrowth and light spice. The palate is full-bodied, with fine, silky tannins, good acidity to balance the whole, and a lingering finish marked by perfect harmony between the fruit and the woody nuances.
