The domain
Château Cazal Viel, located in the Saint-Chinian appellation, is renowned for its wines that combine richness and the typical characteristics of the Languedoc terroir. The estate, cultivating vines on clay-limestone soils, is committed to sustainable viticulture that preserves the authentic expression of its terroirs.
The wine
Larmes des Fée 1999, a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, offers a rich, evolved expression. The nose reveals aromas of smoked bacon, garrigue and sweet spices, with hints of leather and undergrowth. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a lingering finish of liquorice and cocoa.
