The domain
Founded in the early 20th century, the estate covers 14.5 hectares in the commune of Nuits-Saint-Georges. The estate is a benchmark in Burgundy, not only because it produces exceptional wines, but also and above all because Henri Gouge, its founder, did so much to promote Burgundy wines and their influence throughout the world. Today, Grégory and Antoine Gouges run the estate using organic viticulture methods.
The wine
The wine is elegant and structured. It offers aromas of ripe red fruit, earth and spices, with refined tannins and good depth, showing considerable ageing potential.
