The Domaine

« Fac et Spera» is the family motto of the estate and means « do and hope », translating true humbleness in the face of the soil and the vines. Michel Chapoutier takes back the family house in Tain L'Hermitage in 1990 and founds there a rhodanian empire. In thirty years, nothing stopped his passion for wine and love of great terroirs. He nowadays run 350 hectares through the Rhone Valley, Champagne, Alsace and Languedoc regions, with a bit in Autralia too.
