The estate
Owned by the Dillon family - who also own Château Haut Brion - this estate is a classic in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Producing both white and red wines, it is renowned for its consistent quality and great finesse. The Château, a neighbour of the famous Château Haut-Brion, benefits from the same terroir.
The wine
The Château offers us a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The wine is concentrated, with notes of blackberry, blackcurrant and black plum. These primary aromas are complemented by more complex woody notes of vanilla, cloves and nutmeg. The great aromatic persistence of this wine is proof of its excellence.
