The domain
Founded in 1819, Château Fleur Cardinale has been producing wine since the 1920s. In 2001, Dominique and Florence Decoster purchased the property and invested to reveal its potential. The 23.5-hectare estate benefits from a diverse terroir across seven different soils. In 2006, it was promoted to Grand Cru Classé, confirming its increasing quality.
The wine
The Château Fleur Cardinale 2003 stands out for its intense color and aromas of ripe fruits. On the palate, it is rich and fleshy, with a beautiful tannic structure and a persistent finish. This wine offers a beautiful expression of the Saint-Émilion terroir, with remarkable elegance and aromatic complexity.
