    Description

    The domain

Founded by the Feuillants Fathers in 1662, Château Meyney was a convent before becoming a vineyard. Purchased by Désiré Cordier in 1919, it is now managed by CA Grands Crus. The 51-hectare vineyard rests on unique gravel and blue clay soils.

    The wine

The 2005 vintage of Château Meyney offers a dark and deep hue. The nose reveals complex aromas of dark fruits, leather, and spices. On the palate, it is powerful with well-integrated tannins, notes of blackcurrant, and a long and elegant finish. An ideal wine for aging.
