The estate
The estate, created at the beginning of the 20th century by Etienne Camuzet, is located in the Côte de Nuits at Vosne-Romanée. Etienne Camuzet was advised by Henri Jayer on the various stages of winemaking, and the estate went on to become recognised as one of the best, thanks in particular to the legendary Clos Parentou in Vosne-Romanée.
The wine
The 2009 Vosne-Romanée les Chaumes from Domaine Méo-Camuzet opens with notes of black cherry and strawberry jam. The wine also reveals tertiary notes of leather and undergrowth due to bottle ageing. Thanks to its high concentration, this Premier Cru has survived the passage of time and remains a fresh wine to this day.
