    Description

    The domain

Château Haut-Bergey, with origins dating back to the 15th century, is located in Léognan. In 1991, Sylviane Garcin-Cathiard acquired the estate and undertook a complete modernization: renovation of the vineyards and the winery. Today, this 28-hectare vineyard is renowned for its red and white wines, blending tradition and innovation.

    The wine

This 1986 vintage is at full maturity, offering a beautiful expression of the terroir and a refined aromatic complexity with evolved aromas of candied red fruits, leather, underbrush, and sweet spices. The finish is long and complex with notes of tobacco and vanilla.
