The domain

Château Filhot was founded in the 17th century and is one of the oldest estates in the Sauternes appellation. Led by the de Vaucelle family, the estate produces prestigious sweet wines, made from grapes grown on clay-gravel soils.



The wine

On the nose, it reveals aromas of honey and white fruits. On the palate, it is round and refreshing, with a marked aromatic intensity, slightly spicy. The finish is long and complex, blending fruity and toasted notes. This wine stands out for its finesse and balance, typical of great Sauternes.
