The domain

Sem, Jacques, and then Guillaume d’Angerville, a magnificent heritage passed down from father to son, continuing with a masterful order: the love of wine and Burgundy. Property of the Marquis d’Angerville since 1888, they are the primary reason for the great quality and beauty of these wines, a true ode to the terroir of Volnay.



The wine

Le Clos des Ducs is a monopoly of the Marquis d'Angerville estate. This cuvée is a very beautiful interpretation of the Volnay terroir. The tannins are harmoniously integrated into the wine, the texture is very elegant with a lot of fluidity. Tertiary notes contribute to the complexity of the wine, such as truffle and forest flor.
