    Description

    The domain

The Jean-Michel Stéphan estate was founded by the winemaker himself, and the first bottles were sold in 1994. Since Jean-Michel's two sons joined him on the estate in 2017, the estate has been renamed Maison Stéphan.

    The wine

The Côte-Rotie old vines from the estate is a confidential cuvée produced only in the best vintages because the yields are very low. The wine is made from a blend of 80% serine, which is an ancient grape variety from the northern Rhône, sharing some characteristics with syrah, and 20% viognier. This traditional blend offers a wine balanced between power, concentration, and aromatic intensity.
