The domain

In 1958, Alain Voge joined his father to work on the small family farm and decided to abandon mixed farming to dedicate himself to wine. He is the one who made the Cornas appellation known, which had long remained in the shadow of other northern Rhône appellations.



The wine

This single-varietal Syrah comes from slopes located at an altitude of about 200 meters with a south/southeast exposure: a perfect combination to obtain ripe fruits while retaining freshness. This cuvée offers notes of dark fruits and gentle spices. The years in the cellar have allowed the development of complexity with notes of smoked bacon, among others.
