    Description

    The domain

The estate opts for very dense planting, allowing among other things, the production of highly concentrated grapes. Mr. Boillot particularly cherishes the old Champ Canet vines that were planted by his ancestor. The Alzingre family, being focused on quality, harvests the grapes manually at the estate.

    The wine

On the premier cru Les Combettes, the Jean-Marc Boillot estate offers us a Chardonnay with notes of toasted bread, green fruits, and a creamy texture partly due to malolactic fermentation and bâtonnage. The aromatic concentration of this cuvée has allowed it to withstand the years without losing its aroma or freshness.
