The estate
Founded in 1628, this historic estate in Ribeauvillé is now run by Pierre and Jean Trimbach. The vineyards are planted on magnificent terroirs. The work in the vineyard and in the cellar is traditional, enabling the estate to retain its own distinctive style year after year.
The wine
The Frédéric Emile cuvée is the estate's flagship wine. It is a tribute to Frédéric Emile Trimbach. This Riesling, with its notes of exotic fruit, honey and petrol, comes from botrytised vines. As a result, the aromatic concentration is intense and the wine has retained some residual sugar: key elements for successful ageing.
