The domain

Domaine Salmon is a family-owned vineyard located in Château-Thébaud, near Nantes, in the Loire Valley. Founded by the Salmon family, who have been in the area since 1766, the estate continues the winemaking tradition over several generations, preserving a know-how passed down from father to son.



The wine

"Fief Cognard" from Domaine Salmon mainly comes from old vines located on a granitic terroir in Château-Thébaud. The nose opens with floral and subtly fruity notes, with a pronounced minerality brought by the granite.
