The Ballot-Millot estate is a family-owned vineyard located in Meursault, in the Côte de Beaune region. The estate was founded in the 18th century and today produces wines from around twenty different appellations.

Description

The estate

After gaining experience in New Zealand and then California, Charles took over the Ballot-Millot estate and began producing wines with precision, always favoring the expression of fruit and terroir over aging.

The wine

In Pommard, on the La Refène premier cru, the Ballot-Millot estate offers us a Pinot Noir with elegant tannins that are perfectly integrated into the wine. This wine opens with notes of redcurrant, blackcurrant, and red plum. The wine is concentrated and complex: a true ode to the terroir of Pommard.

Open a few hours in advance and/or decant.

Best served at around 15°C - 17°C degrees.
