The estate

Jean-Michel Boillot learned to make wine with Olivier Leflaive before setting up his own domaine in Pommard in 1985. Today, he is at the head of 11 hectares of vines, worked with passion and seriousness. Today, the estate is run by Lydie Alzingue, Jean-marc Boillot's daughter, accompanied by her husband François Alzingre and their children.

The wine

This Chardonnay from Domaine Boillot is very typical of the Burgundy Chardonnays we know so well. The wine reveals notes of pear, fresh butter and toasted almond. Thanks to malolactic fermentation and ageing in wood, the wine is round and complex.
