The estate
The Pellé estate is now run by Paul-Henry Pellé, the fourth generation of the family. The vast majority of the estate's plots are planted on Kimmeridgian marl, giving the wines their typical character and tension. Thanks to careful vine management and very low yields, the estate's wines are concentrated and extremely precise.
The wine
Les Blanchais comes from a single plot. Thanks to its exposure, the wine retains a remarkable freshness. The cuvée is distinguished by notes of citrus and green fruit, accompanied by more complex notes of toasted almonds: a very fine wine that can wait a few years in the cellar.
