The domain
Located in Ampuis, the 7-hectare estate is run by Julie and Graeme Bott. Nothing predestined them to viticulture, yet to this day they offer wines under the Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, and Côte-Rotie appellations. The couple vinifies the grapes plot by plot, allowing the terroir to express itself freely.
The wine
The Crozes-Hermitage from the Graeme and Julie Bott estate is a typical blend of Roussanne and Marsanne. The wine offers us notes of primary aromas of quince, yellow peach, and chamomile. Thanks to ageing in French oak barrels for 9 months, the wine has developed complexity and creaminess.
