The domain
Located in Ampuis, the 7-hectare estate is run by Julie and Graeme Bott. Nothing predestined them to viticulture, yet to this day they offer wines under the Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, and Côte-Rotie appellations. The couple vinifies the grapes plot by plot, allowing the terroir to express itself freely.
The wine
The Saint-Joseph from Graeme and Julie Bott comes from granite plots. This poor soil allows for the harvest of concentrated and aromatic grapes. Thus, the resulting wine has intense aromatic notes of dark fruits such as blackberries and blackcurrants.
