The domain
The Tempier estate is located in Provence at Le Castellet, north of Bandol. The estate's vineyards are managed biodynamically, with the utmost respect for the environment. In order to best honour its terroirs, the estate offers parcelar cuvées such as La Tourtine, La Migoua, and Cabassaou.
The wine
La Tourtine is a parcel cuvée, the vines are fully south-facing, so the Mourvèdre easily reaches perfect maturity on this 5.5-hectare plot. The cuvée offers notes of dark fruits such as blackcurrant and black cherry alongside more complex notes of spices. La Tourtine wonderfully combines power and elegance.
