The domain
In 2017, Simon Gastrien settled in Bessey after a few years in South America. The 7-hectare estate is planted with Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier, Gamay, and Syrah. The vines are planted on the hillside at an altitude of 450 meters, offering ideal conditions for the production of fresh and balanced wines.
The wine
L'effrontée is a blend of viognier, marsanne, and roussane. The Rhone trio offers us a balanced wine with delicate notes of white flowers and fresh apricot. Thanks to the precise work of the winemaker, the cuvée is harmonious and concentrated: a true favourite not to be missed.
