The Estate

The family estate is located 17 kilometers from Cahors, on limestone plateaus. The vineyard takes its name from the plot where the vines are planted, "Combel," and the one opposite, "la Serre."

The Wine

The "Machine à Fruit" is a 100% Malbec ratafia, a product obtained through the process of mutage: fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy. This method preserves residual sugars and a vibrant aromatic profile. Thanks to one year of aging in old 225-liter barrels, the ratafia has gained complexity. It offers distinctive notes of candied raspberry and blackcurrant.
