The estate

Antoine Sanzay took over the family estate in 2002. The estate covers 11 hectares of Saumur and Saumur-Champigny. Like its famous neighbour Clos Rougeard, Antoine Sanzay produces precise, chiselled and elegant Cabernet Franc

The wine

La Paterne is a single-varietal Cabernet Franc that combines freshness and length on the palate. This magnificent Saumur-Champigny combines notes of red fruit and spices.
