The domain

In the Loire Valley, south of Angers, Bénédicte and Luc Briand manage the 30-hectare vineyard with the utmost respect for the environment and the vines. The soils are variations of different types of schist and volcanic rocks, thus each cuvée of the estate is marked by its own unique style.

The wine

For this cuvée, Bénédicte and Luc conduct a maceration partly with whole clusters. This crucial step in winemaking brings freshness and complexity to the wine with, alongside notes of fresh fruits, more complex notes of black pepper, among others. Chant de la Pierre is a perfect balance between concentration and freshness.
