The vineyard
The Clau de Nell estate was established in 2006, created by one of the most renowned winemakers of Puligny-Montrachet: Anne-Claude Leflaive and her husband Christian Jacques. Biodynamics being at the heart of the project, the vines are cultivated in the most natural way possible and the winemaking is carried out with very few additives.
The wine
For this cuvée, the Clos de Nell estate vinifies a single-varietal Grolleau. This grape variety, originating from the Loire Valley, offers us a wine with notes of red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry. The extraction of tannins is done sparingly, resulting in a very balanced wine that reveals great finesse.
