The estate
The family estate is situated 17 kilometres from Cahors on a limestone plateau. The vineyard takes its name from the plot on which the vines are planted, ‘Combel’, and the plot opposite, ‘La Serre’.
The wine
The Cerisier cuvée is named after the tree planted on the plot from which it is made. This parcel of red clay lies on a limestone bedrock at an altitude of 350 metres. All these elements combined enable Domaine Combel la Serre to produce a fresh wine with notes of black fruit such as blackcurrant and powerful, harmoniously integrated tannins.
