The estate
Bernard Gripa is one of those winegrowers who have brought about the renaissance of two appellations: Saint-Joseph and Saint-Péray. On the land of his ancestors in Mauves, he sublimated the syrah before acquiring a few hectares of marsanne and roussanne, which contributed to the development of this estate, now run by Fabrice, his son.
The wine
This Saint-Joseph from Domaine Gripa is a Syrah with notes of black pepper, red cherry and blackcurrant. Thanks to the winemaker's remarkable expertise, the wine is perfectly balanced between structure and tension. The wine reveals remarkable aromatic persistence.
