The estate

Fabien Jouves set up his estate, Le Mas del Périé, on the highest slopes of Cahors in 2006. Thanks to biodynamic viticulture and parcel-based cuvées, the winemaker has succeeded in transcribing the terroirs of Cahors in his cuvées.

The wine

La Roque is a parcel-based cuvée from a plot at the top of the hillside, at an altitude of 350 metres. Thanks to this altitude, the Malbec grape retains a great deal of freshness. La Roques reveals notes of ripe black fruit and powerful yet silky tannins.
