The estate

The Pellé estate is now run by Paul-Henry Pellé, the fourth generation of the family. The vast majority of the estate's plots are planted on Kimmeridgian marl, giving the wines their typical character and tension. Thanks to careful vine management and very low yields, the estate's wines are concentrated and extremely precise.

The wine

This Domaine Pellé cuvée is a blend of several plots in the Menetou-Salon appellation. Les Bornés’ stands for “terre argileuse en bérichon”, which perfectly reflects the terroir from which the grapes come.
