The estate

The Demougeot estate is run by Rodolphe Demougeot. Very attached to traditional techniques and quality, Rodolphe does most of the work in the vineyard and cellar by hand.

The wine

This cuvée comes from vines planted on the eponymous plot. Domaine Demougeot's Chardonnay is smooth and well-balanced with a refreshing tension. The wine was aged for 1 year in oak barrels, 10% of which were new, giving it texture, complexity and aromatic depth. This cuvée reveals notes of green fruit as well as more complex aromas of toasted almonds.
