Fabien Jouve moved to Cahors in 2006 to create Mas del Périé. The estate is located on the highest slopes of Cahors, where the wines offer a high degree of maturity, thanks to the climate, balanced by a tension due to the altitude.

    Description

    The estate

    Fabien Jouves set up his estate, Le Mas del Périé, on the highest slopes of Cahors in 2006. Thanks to biodynamic viticulture and parcel-based cuvées, the winemaker has succeeded in transcribing the terroirs of Cahors in his cuvées.

    The wine

    The Amphore cuvée comes from vines at an altitude of 350 metres. Thanks to the altitude and its vinification in amphora, this Malbec strikes a harmonious balance between freshness and ripeness, with notes of ripe black fruit accompanied by floral aromas and black pepper.
