    Description

    The estate

    Étienne set up his own vineyard in 2010 by renting plots from his grandparents. The winemaker vinifies a majority of Chardonnay grapes, with a small proportion of older varieties on certain plots. Étienne Calsac carries out malolactic fermentation on all his vintages, which gives his wines a brioche-like flavour and a creamy texture.

    The wine

    Échappée belle is a single-varietal Chardonnay, this blanc de blancs is a blend of several terroirs. The cuvée opens with notes of apple and pear alongside toasted almond and brioche.

    Best served at around 6°C - 8°C degrees.
