The vineyard
The vineyard now comprises 18 hectares of vines cultivated organically by Emmanuel and Patrice Guillot, with Burgundian know-how and spirit handed down from their father, and traditional vinification. Their wines come from old vines and offer great depth of flavour.
The wine
Les Renardières is a climat located in the commune of Cruzille, where Domaine Guillot-Broux owns a tiny parcel. The techniques used favour extraction, giving this Pinot Noir intense notes of red fruit and concentration. To preserve the quality of the fruit, the berries are harvested by hand. Aged for 11 months in oak barrels, this cuvée reveals subtle secondary notes of cinnamon and cloves. Thanks to micro-oxygenation, the tannins are round and well integrated into the wine.
