The vineyard

The Armand Heitz estate was created by the Heitz family. To this day, the estate still belongs to the family. The estate produces wines from the Côte de Beaune and the Beaujolais. The winemaker can work with different grape varieties on different terroirs, offering a wide range of wines.

The wine

Domaine Heitz's Juliénas is a concentrated Gamay with notes of small red fruit and silky, smooth tannins. Thanks to precise work in the vineyard and in the cellar, the grapes are harvested at full maturity, producing a wine with notes of ripe fruit and remarkable balance.
