Clos des Papes is an iconic estate in the Rhône Valley. The vineyard has belonged to the Avril family for decades. The estate is made up of 24 plots, each with its own soil and microclimate. As a result, the estate offers a wide range of wine styles.

The wine

Le petit vin d'Avril is a blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. This blend of highly complementary grape varieties produces a well-balanced wine with notes of red fruit and spices. The wine is marked by freshness and fluidity.
