    Description

    The vineyard

    The Domaine des Ardoisières was created in 1998 and is run biodynamically. Yields are minimal and the grapes are harvested by hand, so the wines produced are of the highest quality and a perfect reflection of the Savoyard terroir.

    The wine

    Schiste is a complex blend of jaquère, roussane, malvoisie and mondeuse blanche. The wine reveals notes of stone fruit but also some secondary aromas thanks to 12 months' maturing in barrels. The Schiste cuvée is very well balanced between roundness and tension.

    May be cellared.

    Open a few hours in advance and/or decant.

    Best served at around 12°C - 13°C degrees.
