The vineyard

At the Vieux Murier estate, Florian Buit makes exceptional wines in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. Florian trained in Beaune and then made his first wines with the illustrious Jean-Louis Chave. From its first vintage in 2018, the Vieux Murier wines have been a great success.

The wine

This cuvée is a single-varietal Syrah. The vines are grown on rolled pebble soils to ensure optimum ripeness of the grapes. The wine opens with notes of black fruit, such as blackcurrant, alongside hints of menthol and pepper.
