The vineyard

Sébastien Guenin represents the eleventh generation of the family. Located in Essoyes, in the heart of the Côte des Bar region, the 17-hectare estate is planted with 92% Pinot Noir and 7% Chardonnay. Most of the plots are planted on hillsides, giving them optimum exposure to the sun.

Le vin

Effloraison is a typically Champagne blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. The Champagne is marked by notes of green fruit and citrus fruits such as lemon and grapefruit. Ageing on the lees, which is compulsory in Champagne, gives the wine delicate notes of brioche and toast. The finish is tangy and refreshing.

Better served between 8°C - 10°C.

No decantation is needed.
