The vineyard

The Sérol estate has been run biodynamically by Stéphane Sérol since 1996. The vines, located in the eastern foothills of the Massif Central, benefit from an optimal terroir, enabling them to produce high-quality grapes. The estate is planted with Gamay, Viognier and Chenin.

The wine

De Butte en Blanc is a single-varietal Viognier. Aged on lees for more than 6 months in barrel, the cuvée has gained in complexity and developed great roundness. The wine is marked by viognier's primary aromas of white flowers, apricot and peach.
