The vineyard

In the Loire Valley, south of Angers, Bénédicte and Luc Briand manage their 30-hectares vineyard with the greatest respect for the environment and the vines. The soils are a combination of different types of schist and volcanic rock, so each of the estate's cuvées has its own distinctive style.

The wine

This single-varietal Gamay is distinguished by its notes of red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry. Ronceray's delicate texture and the slightly varietal aromas coming from whole-cluster maceration contribute to its complexity and elegance. The cuvée also offers delicate notes of rose petals.
