Le Boulanger de la Tour
As La Tour d'Argent has always been rooted in French "terroir" and tradition,
it was only natural that one day it should open its own bakery.
In a beautiful light marble and solid wood setting, with an area that opens onto the bread production workshop, the organic bread, fresh from the oven appears in all its magnificence: baguettes, tourtes de meule (sourdough), Scandinavian breads, wholemeal breads, corn breads, our signature “Punchy” bread and many others. They accompany each service at La Tour d'Argent restaurant, our main client. Behind the glass, you'll see pure butter viennoiseries, generous pâtisseries and other mouth-watering treats. Madeleines, financiers (almond cakes) and other tea-time cakes bring childhood memories to the present. Where is the star product? There it is: from its vantage point, La Tour's baguette seems to watch over the bakery's activity. It is — just like all our breads, pastries, cakes — made in our workshop in front of you, with natural yeast and organic flour from the Brasseuil mills! A marvel of taste and craftsmanship.
