The family cultivates a rare, somewhat secret, terroir, which benefits from a stony clay and limestone soil. Sustainable agriculture, iconic grape varieties, and underground ageing cellars with a natural spring, all bring finesse and character to the estate's Vacqueyras.

DOMAINE FRANCK BALTHAZAR
Founded by Casimir Balthazar in the first half of the 20th century, the estate gained its reputation when his grandson Franck took over. Franck adopted organic farming practices, ploughing the soil, and working with a pickaxe. His wines result from an exceptional heritage and are made from whole grapes, before being bottled without filtration or fining. A traditional expertise that honours the old vines of the estate.
