The domain

Domaine Louis Jadot is one of the most respected trading houses in Burgundy, founded in 1859. With a rich heritage and recognised expertise, the estate spans several prestigious appellations, including Auxey-Duresses. Louis Jadot makes it a point of honour to produce wines that faithfully express the Burgundian terroir, combining traditional techniques with modern innovations to ensure the quality and authenticity of each bottle.



The wine

1985 offers evolved notes of beeswax, toasted hazelnut, almond paste, candied citrus, and a slight smokiness. The palate, ample and enveloping, combines density, softened minerality, and a velvety texture. The finish, long and saline, extends a deep, refined, and luminous maturity.
