The domain
Château Cazal Viel, located in the Saint-Chinian appellation, is renowned for its wines that combine richness and the typical characteristics of the Languedoc terroir. The estate, cultivating vines on clay-limestone soils, is committed to sustainable viticulture that preserves the authentic expression of its terroirs.
The wine
Le Larmes des Fée 1999, a blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, offers a rich and evolved expression. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruits, garrigue, and sweet spices, with hints of leather and underbrush. On the palate, the wine is ample and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a lingering finish of licorice and cocoa notes.
