The Domaine

The castle was created in the 15th century to be a high place of thought and literature. This anecdote makes all sense during tasting because the wines of this castle will get you emotional. It was in 1994 the Droulers wanted to compete with the great Bordeaux wines and create the cuvée 'prestige' Haut Carles.

The wine

This cuvée finds its prestige in the rigor put into parcel selection, manual harvest, and vinification. After 24 months of aging in new barrels, the tasting unveils a generous wine, dense, fruity, and well-balanced.
